Chapter 4: In Chapter 4, Meg wakes us at 5 hoping the last chapter was a dream. When she went outside to check, she believed it was a dream before the cherubim came and ruined its hopes. They agreeded their first task was to find their test. When Meg decided to tell Progo about Mr. Jenkins, Progo instantly recognized the thing. It was an ecthroi. Progo believed it would help them acheive their first task. Progo decided he wanted to see Mr. Jenkins himself but before that, he/she took Meg to yesterday. The image was showing a rip in the galaxy and a star disappearing. The rip disappeared after that. After that image, another scene was showing after Meg ate and was cleaning the dishes. Her father and mother were having a discussion. *I didn't understand this because it was hard to follow.* After the conversation, Progo explained how he could extract all of that conversation with the real Meg hearing none of it. Then Progo asked Meg if she wanted to save Charles because she was showing signs of the least bit of interest. She said yes. After that, she went inside and continued as if nothing happened. When she was about to go out to the school bus, Sandy and Dennys said to wait. After that, Sandy and Dennys raced down the hill to leave dragging Meg behind.
Chapter 5: Meg was going to Charles' school to talk to Mr. Jenkins. When she wanted to, three appeared. Progo told Meg that this must be part of the test. The first was looking like the real Mr. Jenkins to me. Each Mr. Jenkins made their plea for the real Mr. Jenkins. Meg had to name one of them. When she had a lot of pressure on her Charles was strolling down the hill towards them with Louise the Larger.
Chapter 6: Wrote this out!
Chapter 7: After Mr. Jenkins fainted, Blajeny appeared and scolded Progo to scare Mr. Jenkins out of his wits. After Blajeny brought Mr. Jenkins back to consciousness, the three asked him to come along with him. After much hesitation, he agreed because Meg named him. They explained what they have to do (name people) to make the echtroi go away which they explained about too. After that, they were on Metron Ariston. Metron Ariston is a planet which can be anywhere and it can be any size. The scene that was made was the backyard of the Murry's house. When they were there, they met the other students of the class. It was a spider-y bug. When it explained itself, Meg was amazed because it was a farandolae. She remembered, any place, any size. When Blajeny mentioned they were getting to go somewhere quick, Meg asked where.
Blajeny replied," To one of Charles Wallace's mitochondria."
Chapter 8: When they leave, Meg is horrified but has to calm herself but she can't resist when Progo is around. When she found out that Blajeny didn't join them, she was somewhat disappointed. When she was reminded about everyone else, Progo told her the only way to communicate with others is to kythe. She had to calm Mr. Jenkins down and kythe with him. Progo thought that for their second task, they had to help Sporos, the farandolae to deepen so that the echtroi won't win another battle. Progo said they all had to meet and she had to kythe everyone and let them know. She got to Calvin but while they were talking, Meg felt different. She screamed with all of her body but then she realized that she was reenacting Xed.
Chapter 9: When she was thinking about being Xed, she was able to think. She concluded she wasn't because she could think. Through all of it, she could hear Progo say I name you! When he explained what happened, she realized she didn't touch Mr. Jenkins. It was an echtroi! Since that, the three, Progo, Meg, and Calvin, met. They convinced Meg to name Mr. Jenkins. She tried to kythe to him. When she touched his hand, it seemed real.
Chapter 10: When Meg touched the real Mr. Jenkins, she could feel the dampness. She knew it was real so now she was trying to explain things to Mr.Jenkins. Mr. Jenkins didn't want to understand it but he thought that he was slowing them down. He wanted to go back to someplace where he knew everything. Progo refused because teachers won't do useless things. Then to help Mr. Jenkins, Calvin brought back a memory about Calvin's science project a few years ago. He thought it would help Mr. Jenkins understand. The project was about three plants. One was being treated like any plant, one was treated with love and no water. One was in the kitchen with water and sunlight. The first two were in the lbrary. The one at home was too puny. The one that was average was normal. The one that he cared for grew unusually large and healthy. Now Mr. Jenkins understood. Without love, something can have echtroi move in. Now Progo stated we have to hep Sporos deepen. If he doesn' deepen, Charles die.
Chapter 11: After their conversation, a harmony surrounded them. It was a farae who was telling them information about what they do. Then the farae explained what was happening to Sporos. Sporos and the farandola surrounding him were absorbing energy the fara Senex needs. They hurried to another fara to do the same thing. Yadah was shaking. Then Meg got a vision of what was happening to Charles Wallace. Then she started asking logical questions about whether they know about what is happening around them. Meg tried to kythe Sporos to stop absorbing needed energy. The ecthroi were prying the farandolae to do their bidding. Meg asked Senex what would happen if farandolae don't deepen. It said everyone would die. The echtroi Mr. Jenkins was convincing Sporos to do his bidding. Senex was trying to convince Sporos before the echtros picked up Sporos and threw away all the work Senex did. Though now Calvin was trying to get Sporos to deepen. Now Yadah was shaking more. Finally Sporos listened. He decided to deepen. When Meg was about to start relaxing because all was peace but then Progo remembered: There are three tests! Then she saw Mr. Jenkins surrounded by echtroi.
Chapter 12: The echtroi closed in on Meg. She tried to fight back. Then she saw a picture of Calvin fighting the echtroi. Then Calvin was hit and starting getting beaten up. Progo said he could help Calvin but not Mr. Jenkins. She had to go to the echtroi. She remembered the pain that occurred before and she taught it might come back. All of her mind was flung at Mr. Jenkins with all her kythe. Mr. Jenkins said one thing: "Nature abhors a vacuum." Calvin told her: "Fill the nothingness!" She then flung her body at Mr. Jenkins. The pain came back. Cold. Then Progo came out of nowhere and flung his winds and a tempest of air flew. Then Meg knew what to do. "I name you echtroi!" She was back in Charles Wallace's room. He was as fine as he could ever be. They explained their story but the twins didn't believe that. Meg wanted to know where Progo was but when he moved air and opened his wings with all his might, he Xed himself. After dinner, Meg and Calvin put Charles to bed and went to the star gazing rock. No one there. No Blajeny and no Progo. When they walked back they saw Louise. When they went in, the kitchen door opened without being touched since a blast of air came in. The twins said they didn't need to break the door but Charles was calling them. They asked if they counted the stars because they were gone for a long time. "They need to only be known by name." She looked Calvin in the eye and then went upstairs to Charles Wallace.
